On our December campout, we will go to Newport News Park for a Food and Fun weekend.
For those who need it, we will be doing requirements for the Cooking Merit Badge (Eagle Required MB). We will not be able to complete requirement 4, which includes cooking meals at home, but we should be able to do the rest. For those doing the MB (in a separate patrol), we will shop for food on the way to the park. We will plan menus at the November 30th meeting. Estimated food cost to be $10 for the weekend. If you are doing the merit badge, please put Cooking MB in the comment box when you register.
For those who already have the Cooking MB, you can come enjoy a weekend of fun with your fellow Scouts. Bring your favorite games or activities. These Scouts will be doing patrol cooking with number of patrols dependent on number of Scouts. This is a good time to experiment with new recipes to try something different. Estimated food cost to be $10 for the weekend.
